How do I allow Screen Time?
Allow Screen Time when ScreenNap asks during setup. You can also open Settings → Screen Time access in ScreenNap to request permission again. Choose the apps or websites you want to block, enable your rule and check your schedule.
Why are my apps not blocked?
Check that Screen Time access is allowed and your rule is enabled. In ScreenNap Settings, use Fix blocking (refresh) to reconnect your blocking schedule. This ends temporary unlocks while keeping your rules and saved progress.
Do I need to allow every permission?
Camera access is optional for Mirror Mode and exercise counting. You can type a reason without allowing microphone or speech access. Change camera, microphone, speech and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
If a permission is unavailable or a block does not behave as expected, email us with the steps you tried. Screen Time features depend on your device and Apple’s authorization.
How do I manage or cancel a subscription?
Available plans, prices and any trial terms appear before purchase. Apple handles subscription billing through the Apple Account used for the purchase.
To cancel, open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → ScreenNap, or use Manage Subscription in the app. Check the renewal date and access period Apple shows. If you accepted a free or discounted trial, Apple recommends canceling at least 24 hours before it ends. Read Apple’s cancellation instructions.
How do I request a refund?
Visit Apple’s Report a Problem service, sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase and choose Request a refund. Apple decides whether a purchase is eligible. See Apple’s refund instructions for the current steps.
Deleting the app or your ScreenNap account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel with Apple to stop future renewal.
How do I restore purchases?
Use Settings → Restore Purchases in ScreenNap with the same Apple Account that made the purchase. You can also restore from the app’s subscription screen. Restoration depends on Apple confirming a valid purchase.
If access is still missing, check that the purchase is active in iOS Settings, restart your device and try again. Read Apple’s restoration guidance or contact us with the message shown in ScreenNap. A ScreenNap cloud account is separate from your Apple subscription.
How do I delete my account?
Account features require a network connection. Use Settings → Account to save progress, manage sharing or sign out. Reflection sharing applies to all synced reflections after successful sync and starts off.
To delete your cloud account, choose Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. If asked, choose Verify account again, complete the same sign in method, then retry deletion. This removes your cloud profile, activities, reflections, analysis, friend connections, requests, blocks and safety reports where you are the reporter or reported account. A minimal deletion record remains to prevent stale requests from restoring deleted content. The online service can retry interrupted deletion; contact us if you cannot confirm completion.
How do I reset data on this device?
Cloud deletion does not clear local progress on every device. To reset local profile, rules and reflections on this device, choose Settings → Delete local data and confirm. This signs you out while leaving cloud progress saved. If Strict Mode is active, finish its disable cooldown before resetting local data.
If you cannot access your account or deletion fails, email [email protected] with your account email or username and request deletion. We may verify ownership before removing data. Do not send your password.
Friends safety
Open Settings → Friends and use the menu beside a person or shared reflection. Choose Report user or Report reflection, select a reason, optionally add details and tap Send report. Wait for confirmation that the report was received. Reports go to a private moderation queue.
Choose Block user to stop discovery, requests, sharing and leaderboard visibility in both directions after the service confirms the block. Unblock from the blocked users list if you change your mind; a new friend request is required. Unblocking does not remove a block set by the other account. A basic text filter also keeps rejected shared reflections private, but cannot detect every harmful message.
For help with a report or block, email [email protected]. ScreenNap is not an emergency service. Read our content rules and report retention information.
Social website sessions
Social websites have their own accounts and persistent cookies. Switching ScreenNap accounts, signing out, deleting your ScreenNap account or resetting local ScreenNap data does not sign you out of those websites. Use the website’s own sign out controls.
Filters depend on website layouts and cannot guarantee that every distracting element disappears. ScreenNap does not control a social website’s advertising or data collection.
Access, correction and privacy requests
Email us to request a copy of your cloud data, correct account information or request deletion. Include the account email or username and the action you want. Requests are handled under applicable law, with ownership verification where needed.
Read the Privacy Policy for collection, sharing, retention and permission details, and the Terms of Use for subscriptions and service terms.
How do I contact ScreenNap?
Email [email protected] or open Settings → Help and Support → Contact support in the app. If no mail app is available, choose Copy support details and paste them into an email.
Include your iOS version, ScreenNap version and the steps that led to the issue. Hide private details in screenshots and keep passwords and payment details out of your message.
