Block Reels, Shorts and the apps that eat your day.

ScreenNap uses Apple’s Screen Time to block the apps you lose hours to. Open Instagram, YouTube and four more inside ScreenNap with Reels and Shorts switched off, and answer one question before you scroll: why?

Inside the app

  • YouTube opened inside ScreenNap with Shorts hidden, showing search results for a sourdough bread recipe
  • The Rules screen with blocking active on a weekday schedule and three blocked websites, with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Snapchat locked
  • The Apps screen with Instagram, YouTube, X, Snapchat, Facebook and TikTok, each opened inside ScreenNap
  • Home screens with Mochi in different rooms, the share of today’s time left and points to unlock more rooms
  • Mochi’s mood at 100, 50 and 0 percent of today’s time left, with half of the day’s time used
  • A guided breathing session with Mochi, where four breaths make one reset
  • Mochi asks if you really need the app, then you type or say your reason before asking for time
  • Stats with this week’s streak and points, and Your Triggers ranking task, boredom, connection and FOMO

One question before a blocked app opens

  1. Reach for a blocked app

Apple’s Screen Time shield keeps it closed and offers to ask ScreenNap for time.

  2. Mochi asks why

“Do you really need this right now, or is it a reflex?”

  3. Walk away or make your case

Walk away and earn points, or type or say a real reason. An answer you gave in the last 20 minutes will not count. Turn on push ups or squats and every rep earns a minute instead.

What ScreenNap does

Same apps, no short video feeds

Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, X and Facebook open inside ScreenNap with Reels, Shorts, Explore, Spotlight and TikTok’s For You hidden from the start. Instagram opens to the people you follow, with Messages still there.

Block distracting apps on your terms

Block apps, categories and websites all day or during set hours. Share one daily time budget, from 30 minutes to 8 hours, unlock 1, 3, 5, 10 or 15 minutes at a time, and turn on Strict Mode when you want no requests at all.

See what makes you scroll

Today’s and this week’s Screen Time, pickups and notifications, your most used blocked apps, and every reason tagged by what drove it: boredom, stress, FOMO, habit or a task.

Reset instead of scrolling

A Pomodoro focus timer, guided box breathing and a 30 second body reset for the moments you would usually reach for your phone.

Meet Mochi

Mochi feels it when your daily time runs low. Earn points for focus sessions, streaks and every time you walk away, then unlock eight rooms for Mochi. Two Home Screen widgets keep your time left and your streak in view.

One subscription. No account needed.

ScreenNap needs an active weekly or yearly subscription. It unlocks blocking for apps, categories and websites, your schedule, requests, Screen Time stats, focus tools and the Spotlight and Stories controls in ScreenNap’s Snapchat browser. Eligible new users may get a free trial. Plans, prices and any trial appear before you buy. If your subscription ends, blocking pauses until you subscribe again, and your saved rules stay on your iPhone.

Your blocked apps, reasons and reflections are saved on your iPhone, not in a ScreenNap cloud. RevenueCat manages subscriptions, and Firebase, Adjust, Meta and TikTok process usage, diagnostic and attribution information as our Privacy Policy describes. Apple speech recognition and the websites you open have their own data practices.
